Mr. Mauricio Carrasco

Mr. Carrasco is PAI’s Operations Manager. He is a seasoned Civil Engineer with an MBA and 17 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. Before joining PAI, Mr. Carrasco participated in large-scale projects including power plants, tunnels, industrial facilities and US government chancery buildings, working for top international contractors. He held diverse roles as site engineer, scheduler, cost controller, office engineer, subcontracts administrator, site planner and manager, in projects located in South America, Asia and the USA. He brings this diverse background and multi-lingual capacity.  He is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and conversational in German.

Mr. Carrasco has prepared numerous studies for Contractors, Owners, Owners Representatives, Dispute Review Boards, and Arbitrators to assist in the resolution of construction disputes. These studies included preparation of forensic delay analyses, identification and demonstration of cause and effect, evaluation of claims, evaluation of time impact studies, assessment and implementation of progress monitoring procedures, and other scheduling studies. His work has been successfully utilized for the resolution of contractual disputes at different levels, ranging from negotiations of change orders to mediations and arbitrations, in both domestic and international forums. Outside disputes, Mr. Carrasco has also assisted Owners and Contractors in planning their construction operations and preparing detailed resource loaded programmes that were successfully implemented.

Mr. Carrasco is a hands-on experienced civil engineer who brings practical application of scheduling, project controls and analysis to the business context of construction projects.
