Project Controls Consulting Services
Project advisory services provides guidance on how to set up cost and time effective project control tools to provide an early warning system of problems, and enable projects to complete on time and on budget. PAI assists clients in setting up the tools to plan, monitor and manage projects. This includes the project schedule, defining milestones, key interface identification, progress measuring report templates, change identification and tracking, coding structures, report templates, and contract compliance guidelines,. After the initial development of the tools, PAI periodically examines the project status and fine tunes these tools to deal with emerging issues. PAI also provides ongoing assistance with resolving issues at the project level before they become claims.
Embracing project advisory services during the project lifetime typically saves substantial sums of money from being spent on the pursuit of claims settlement later in the project. Typical examples of savings would be an investment of less than 0.5% of the bid price versus legal and consultant fees of 5% (or more) attempting to recover claims for monies which were due several months and years before due to project changes.
